Outfit Idea #3

This third outfit idea is different from the other two as the outfit consists of a skirt, which isn't something that is much worn in the winter but you can still make it work with the help of tights. Its a very comfortable teenagey ('teenagey' if that's a word)  outfit which can be worn for school or going out with friends.

This outfit is very casual and flirty as it shows off your curves in a subtle way. Again this is a very easy outfit to re-create as it consists of pieces that may already be in your wardrobe.

Top: Hollister
Skirt: H&M
Cardigan:ASOS
Tights:Primark
Bag:Louis Vuitton
Shoes:Vans

For a more formal look you can change the vans to boots and maybe a less graphic t-shirt if you are in a formal situation. You could also wear jeans with this outfit and substitute the skirt if you are uncomfortable or do not like wearing skirts.

Thank you Yalda for modelling :)

Watch Ideas for Men and Women

I thought this post would be helpful to give an idea of a lovely timepiece gift for someone for any occasion.

Here are some of my watches, they vary on style, some have a larger face, while others are slightly more petite and elegant. The straps also vary from leather, diamonds and links, which makes each watch unique.

I have purchased all the following watches from various stores, some include: Ernest Jones, Beaverbrooks, H.Samuel and The Watch Shop (online).

One of my most recent purchases was this DKNY watch in "rose gold." It has a slightly larger face, with a shiny and matte rose gold links strap. This is my most favourite watch, as I find it suitable to wear to sixth form everyday, as it's a pretty colour and will go with any outfit. I also like the detailing around the edge of the face, as it brings the colour out more and provides an elegant finish to the watch.

These next three watches are some of my slightly older ones, which are relatively small. (From left to right) they are: DKNY, DKNY and Fendi. All three watches are unique and I find them more formal and suitable to wear at work.

This Guess watch is also one of my more older watches and has a leather strap, which is different to my previous ones. It also has a square face, which makes it different and more interesting to wear. I find this watch suitable to be worn to work also, as it's quite small and formal.

Men's watch ideas

This is one of my dad's watches (also one of his favourites).
This Rolex would make a classic gift for for any man and
is also very sophisticated. The colours are neutral and would
therefore look great with formal wear.

Finally, this Breitling and Tissot watches are also very smart and sophisticated. The Breitling has a slightly larger face compared to the Tissot but both are very smart.
Both the watches have different colours, such as grey silver, bits of red and the Tissot even has some yellow in it. This makes each part of the watch really stand out and look unique.

His & Hers watch gift set

On a last note, I think a His & Hers gift set can make a really great timepiece, perfect for an anniversary.

Michael Kors is probably one of the biggest watch designers right now and he has designed watches perfect for men and women. This isn't a gift set option in stores or online, I chose these watches and bought them separately (they are my parents).

Together, I think each watch compliments the other and can be worn out anywhere, as a watch is the most perfect accessory!

I hope you liked this post of some watch gift ideas for men and women!

Body Butters: The Body Shop

Recently purchased this body butter from the body shop as they were on sale for only £5.00! which is super amazing as they are originally £13.00.

Me and Zainab are big fans of these body butters as they are realllyyyy goooodd - sorry for my spelling but I just wanted to express how much we love them.

So,I have this one which is in the scent 'Sweet Pea' and it smells BEAUTIFUL, personally I like flowery smells and that's the main reason why I purchased this one.

Also its a DUO one so it has two consistencies. One side is for normal skin and the other side is for dry skin areas-best of both worlds(sorry for quoting Hannah Montana). The normal skin areas one is really nice and velvety and is more like a lotion however the dry skin areas side is more buttery and luxurious, great for after a bath just before you go to bed. The lotion half is also very thick, it almost sticks to your skin as you try to spread it, which I like. The lighter product I use on my legs and arms-just anywhere why you don't need as much moisture.
It is extremely important to moisturise your body and this two in one product is just so easy to use.

However, I wouldn't put this on right before I leave the house; I get dressed and sit around for about an hour to be sure it's all dry. The rich product is perfect for those particularly dry areas for example elbows-personally my elbows get quite dry so I put the rich buttery side on. It sinks in reasonably fast but I tend to put this on if I don't have to leave the house immediately. My skin stays moisturised all day long and my elbows are incredibly soft.

I have the Gingerbread Sparkle Body Butter and I also love it very much.

As Fatima mentioned above, I got this body butter in the sale for only £5! This is amazing considering they are originally priced at £13. This butter is perfect for winter time - as it has a gorgeous gingerbread smell which has a thick creamy texture which can be massaged well into the skin.

Therefore, I find this body butter perfect for application in the evening after a warm shower/bath. It's perfect for all skin types and has a lovely soothing feeling which leaves skin feeling soft.

I love the packaging because it's all festive and really cute. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Body Shop Body Butters as they all have lovely textures and smells - as there's a huge variety. I also recommend that as they are currently less than half price at £5, they're a steal so everyone should get one!!!

Yankee Candle Collection

I've always loved Yankee Candles as they have such amazing distinct smells and are a lovely gift for anyone. They make a perfect decoration and can make any room feel super cosy.

Here are the candles I currently have:
The candles above are (from left to right) "pink sands", "clean cotton", "baby powder" and "vanilla cupcake"

"Pink sands" was my most recent purchase and it is by far my most favourite candle! It smells not too sweet and has quite a delicate candy smell. The colour of the actual candle is a baby pink and would make a lovely gift for someone, I have this in the smallest Yankee jar, as the larger ones were out of stock. This is priced at £8.39.

My first Yankee Candle was this "clean cotton" one. I originally got this one for the living room in my house, as it is quite a neutral colour and it has a very soothing 'clean' smell.

I find this best lit before guests arrive, as it projects a lovely light smell into the atmosphere and makes any room look much more cosier. I have this candle in the largest jar, which is priced at £19.99.

This "baby powder" Yankee was my second candle and it also has a very clean smell. I would find this candle perfect to be lit in a baby's room, as it's a very soothing light smell which would be perfect after a nappy change! I have this in the smallest jar, priced at £8.39.

Finally, this is my last Yankee Candle and is called "vanilla cupcake." I love the jar of this one, as it's different to Yankee's classic jar. I particularly find this candle to be a nice gift because of the packaging, although any Yankee would be a lovely gift.

Obviously, this smells like vanilla cupcakes, so the smell isn't heavy or overwhelming. I find this candle is best lit in the kitchen after having done some cooking, as it masks any other smells and leaves the kitchen smelling sweet. This is priced at £9.99.

Revlon Colorstay Foundation Review

This foundation is amazing, I don't use it everyday (I use BB cream) but I do use it now and then when I want a nice dewy finish.

This foundation is great with shades the selection is absolutely great, I use the shade 'Nude' and it matches my skin really nicely. I noticed most of the shades are great for people with yellow toned skin -such as myself. When applying the foundation I use the Real techniques expert face brush and I find that is the best way to apply it with-a brush. As applying with fingers will not give that same flawless look in my opinion. This foundation is great at covering redness without looking 'cakey'. The rare time I do have to cover a red spot that reappears I just layer it back on and it still doesn't look cakey. It also lasts all day.

The packaging of this foundation is good quality the glass is firm and its nicely presented. My foundation looks a little bit different to other packaging I think its because I got it in another country when I was on holiday so that's why it may look different? But its the inside that counts.Right?

The coverage is medium to full and it's really easy to build up it also blends in beautifully. The only thing is that the foundation doesn't have a pump, therefore on days when your in a rush it is a struggle to get the correct amount. I just pour a little bit on the back of my hand and using my brush blend it in.
I then powder my face using the Rimmel stay matte and it gives a really nice finish-not too dewy but healthy looking skin.

The foundation has thick yet runny consistency (if that even makes sense) and doesn’t oxidize and it’s non-transferring which is the main things that I love about the foundation. I wouldn't wear this foundation in the summer as its a more heavy foundation which is perfect for the winter, another thing is sometimes when I don't moisturise my skin as much when blending the foundation in it feels a little bit sticky but that is only when I haven't moisturised properly.

As I mentioned before that it stays put, even when I try to take it off it is quite a struggle because its so long-lasting-you need to cleanse well in order to take off. This can be seen as a good thing (you know it wont budge throughout the day) or as a pitfall (clogging up of pores) I believe it all depends on the amount you use on your face. I don't like to use much as a small amount can do a lot.

Overall I really love this foundation even though it has its pitfalls-every foundation does. The main thing is I really like the amazing coverage it gives
